ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Strategy
" Plan and communicate strategies to direct the leasing function in order to maximise on revenue.
" Source and identify new retail leasing properties, prepare plans, proposals and feasibility studies in line with the business development objectives, for the General Manager to decide on site acquisition plans.
" Develop long term leasing plan and entry strategy in new markets securing key retail spaces; collaborate with realtors on new ideas and alliances that are mutually advantageous.

Property Management
" Negotiate, develop and prepare leases, permits, contracts and other property agreements.

Management
" Guide, direct, develop, motivate and manage the performance of all direct reports in line with the Performance Management System.
" Implementation and management of staff bonuses based on performance, in line with Group policy.

Scope and General Purpose (Job Summary):

Manage the execution of all construction works (mostly Post Tensioning) entrusted to the company including coordination with Project Managers, supervision of supplies, delivery program, technical supervision of the execution, liaison with the consultant concerning the execution, checking and following up on testing and calibration procedures, overall quality control of construction/post tensioning activity.

Essential Functions:
- Ensure method statements, risk assessments and information and test plans are correct and implemented for all operations.
- Ensure that the equipment and operative selections for operations are correct and fit for purpose whilst maximizing efficiencies of resources allocation.
- Place orders for material and equipment
- Aid in project start up documentation.
- Ensure that payment certificates / invoices are timely and properly issued and duly approved by the client.
- Coordinate with the Accounting department to check receivables to stop/slow down work on site if necessary
- Attend progress and coordination meetings; coordinate between the main contractor and our client.
- Monitor and control project costing in material, labor and equipment; receive from the site team a weekly inventory from each site (material, equipment and accessories).
- Aid in change orders preparation whenever applicable.
- Expand knowledge of post tensioning within frame contractors, while developing partnerships on live projects and managing on site relationships with frame contractors.
- Explore new technologies that could enhance the PT system and methods of working
- Oversee construction schedules/programs and provide operative consultations.
- Obtain certificates of practical completion.
- Ensure the welfare, health and safety of operatives on site.
- Maintain asset register for all plant and equipment.
- Calibration of plant and equipment.
- Report to the General Manager about sites progress by presenting a monthly report
- Prepare documents and closing reports for completed sites
- Train new employees to integrate in the company’s system

Key Skills:

- Understanding and awareness of all operational processes and procedures, health and safety requirements

The Group Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing and providing functional leadership for procurement, contract administration, sub-contract management, and the preservation of products, services and company assets throughout the Group.

The Group Supply Chain Manager will report to the Group Services Director.

Responsibilities and Tasks

A highly qualified and experienced Supply Chain Manager is required to ensure that procurement, contract administration, sub-contract management and asset management are functionally effective and fully integrated with all other elements of the business. Primary responsibilities include the following:-

Procedures and Systems:

" Select, develop, implement and manage a Procurement process and associated software application and standard Procurement Status Report that can be used on both remote and network connected sites across multiple locations;
" Enhance, evolve and continually improve the company's procurement standards and procedures;
" Standardize Contracts/Commercial management processes and procedures based on best practice and lessons learnt;
" Develop a standard approach to assessing and managing vendors and third party suppliers;
" Identify and implement Asset Management Procedures and monitor compliance with these procedures.

Asset Management:

" Develop a consistent method for tracking assets across the whole company including materials / fixed assets etc.
" Work with the finance team to ensure that we have a method and associated systems to complete inventory and stock takes when required.

Group Sourcing activity:

" Support the Estimating and Proposals Team with current quotations for the pricing of key equipment, materials and sub-contract services;
" Identify, recommend and implement strategic sourcing and logistics strategies, considering the possibility for global supplier agreements;
" Ensure Approved Suppliers Lists are compiled, maintained and adhered to in each regional operation;
" Take a direct leading role in the negotiation of terms and conditions and the value of large orders;
" Support expediting of critical orders;
" Provide input, where necessary, to the preparation of pre-qualifications, tender documentation and any project specific procurement, contract and sub-contract documents;
" Identify suitable international expeditors to support the regional requirements (where necessary).

Regional Staffing:

" Work with the Regional Managers to verify and enhance the competency of Regional Procurement and Contracts/Commercial Managers through assessment and training;
" Assist with the leadership on structure and staffing of major procurement projects in the appropriate location.

Reporting & Auditing:

" Monitor internal and external stakeholder satisfaction with regard to the services provided by procurement and contracts/commercial personnel;
" Prepare Monthly Procurement Reports for the senior management of the company;
" Audit regional and major project procurement and contracts/commercial activities to validate that procurement and any sub-contract activities are executed in accordance with our client's Procedures;
" Monitor vendor/supplier and sub-contractor performance through the measurement and reporting of KPI's;
" Contribute to Management Meetings with feedback on key developments, performance, improvements and recommendations in Procurement, Contracts/Commercial and Asset Management

REQUIREMENTS:

" 15+ years of experience in Supply Chain positions, preferably including functional leadership roles.
" At least 7 years of experience in the oil & gas or heavy industrial industry.
" A university degree in engineering, a science discipline or quantity surveying is preferable.
" Proven track record of developing and implementing procurement and commercial management programs.
" Experience of developing and implementing procurement, contracts/commercial and asset management procedures.
" It is preferable but not essential to have an electrical and/or instrumentation background so that the individual is familiar with the types of equipment, materials and services typically procured by our client.
